She announced this week that she is planning a chart comeback with new music, four years after the release of her last album, 2012's The Spirit Indestructible.
Nelly shared a special track with fans titled Behind Your Back, which will not feature on her upcoming LP.
She tweeted an explanation, writing; "Surrounded by my 90's heroes had me nostalgic. Behind Your Back is a special that won't b on my LP. It's a palette cleanse...an appetizer."
If Nelly's new music forms a new album, it will mark her sixth studio record.
She has been recording and touring regularly over the last few years, and last hit the road in 2013 to support her last album The Spirit Indestructible.
